Corporation of Japan, CPTDC(a subsidiary of CNPC), China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau (CPPLB) and Tianjin Hongda International Freight Agent Co.. Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau is the majority party with 60% of the stock. The Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau, CPTDC and CPPLB which engaged in oil drilling, oilfield material purchasing and pipeline designing and construction separately , are all affiliated enterprises of CNPC. Both CNPC and Marubeni Corporation are famous companies in the world. They have a good business reputation and strong economic base. Tianjin Hongda International Freight Agent Co. is a famous freight agent company in China which has good experience in freight agent. Julong Steel Pipe Co., Ltd was founded on April 18, 2000. The chairman of Board of Directors is Mr. Zhang Baozhuang, who is in the position of Director of Huabei Petroleum Administration Bureau. And the general manager is Mr. Ren Jinghui. The company occupies 77,000 square meters and the registered capital is 30 million US$. The imported advanced JCOE large diameter longitudinal SAW (LSAW) production line specializes in production of LSAW steel pipes. This line is the only one approved by CNPC to supply LSAW pipes for West to East Project and some other important projects . The company has taken the research task of domestic manufacturing of large-diameter gas-transporting pipes for West to East Project which is one of the research plans of National Important Technical Material and Equipment.This production line is scheduled to put into operation at October 2001. 2.The Company is located in the area of 1st Machinery Works of North China Petroleum (Steel Pipe Works of North China Petroleum), which lies in the Bohai Bay Economic Development Zone near to Beijing, Tianjin and Shijiazhuang . It's on the line of Jin-Hu railway and Jing-Hu highway, 145 kilometers away from Xingang port and 80 kilometers away from Huanghua port which is now under construction. The plant premises have been equipped with special railways and special loading and unloading yards. Its location enjoys convenient transportation on the land and sea. The Steel Pipe Works of North China Petroleum, which occupies 1.99 million square meters, is a special manufacturer of oil & gas transportation pipelines with more than 20 years of experience in steel pipe manufacturing . The pipe has obtained API monogram certificate in 1993 and got the ISO 9002 quality system assurance certificate in 1995. The pipe has got the Award of National Consumers Satisfaction Products, which is the only award received by domestic pipe-manufacturing enterprises, and many other awards on the province and ministry level for continuous years. The plant participated in many long-distance pipeline projects such as Shaanxi-Beijing pipeline and Sudan pipeline. The products have been sold to 29 provinces all over China and exported to international market as well. The technical and operational skeleton personnel are all from the First Machinery Works of North China Petroleum . They have rich experience in SAW steel pipe production and are familiar with the manufacturing and inspection equipment and technology of SAW steel pipe with high strength and high toughness.
